Redesigning The Future Of Sponsored Refugee Resettlement in Ontario

Do you want to participate in the reshaping of private sponsorship of refugees?

Refugees 613 in collaboration with the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) is looking for former privately-sponsored refugees, private sponsors, and settlement workers who work with privately-sponsored refugees.

Participants will have a full day of brainstorming focused on designing tools and ideas that can make an impact on private sponsorship.

Disagreements and misunderstandings between private sponsors and the sponsored refugee may arise during the course of a sponsorship.

They will provide information and and answers to your answers.

They will also help participants connect make connections in the following areas:

The interview with the Canadian visa offices (VO) abroad is a turning point in the private sponsorship process.

After all, it entails that the refugee you are sponsoring is one step away from being granted permanent residence.

To help you prepare the refugee before he goes for the interview, the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) is organizing a webinar.

Everything You Want To Know About IRCC Processing Time

Ever had questions pertaining to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) processing time?

The Office For Refugees Archdiocese of Toronto (ORAT) is organizing an information session.

This will be your opportunity to connect with IRCC directly.

This session will be an opportunity for sponsors and resettlement group members to learn about the complicated IRCC procedure and how to connect with the visa office throughout the whole sponsorship process.
